Trip Itinerary:
Day 1
La Fortuna
After picking you up at the San Jose airport in a private shuttle, we will travel 3 hours through the green rolling hills and enchanting valleys of the lush rainforest. Along the way you're bound to see some wildlife as we make our way to what is considered Costa Rica's premiere Adventure Zone - the famous Arenal Volcano area.
Day 2
La Fortuna
Today we GO BIG! Off to another early start, we head out to Costa Rica's newest and most-unique high-end adventure: Canyon Hiking in the Lost Canyon along with a heart-pounding rappel down 4 Tropical Waterfalls! With the excitement of the morning still coursing through our veins, you can head out on a walk through the forest to the base of the famous Arenal Volcano to enjoy the wonders of the jungle. The evening brings the much anticipated chance to relax in the Baldi Natural hot springs to do some nighttime lava viewing. (Breakfast, lunch included).
Day 3
La Fortuna
Getting a bright and early start, you have your choice between two exciting adventures. Take an adrenaline-filled whitewater rafting trip down the intense Class 4 Rio Toro and feel the exhilaration of over 45 crazy, continuous rapids in this secluded, picturesque canyon or you can experience the thrill of navigating your own inflatable whitewater kayak down a series of exciting Class 2 & 3 rapids that is dotted with beautiful waterfalls and surrounded by lush jungle flora. (Breakfast and lunch included)
Day 4
Samara
Morning is your chance to play "Indiana Jones meets Tarzan" by flying through the jungle treetops on an exhilarating canopy zipline course. In the afternoon, we travel to the fun and dynamic beach town of Samara where you have the option to choose from surf lessons, a sea kayaking tour, or a snorkeling outing (weather permitting). Or, if you choose, simply kick back on the beach with a cold pina colada! In the evening be sure to watch the awe inspiring sunset over the Pacific Ocean and to enjoy the friendly and welcoming local "Tico" nightlife. (Breakfast included)
Day 5
Samara and San Jose
After a lazy, relaxing morning on the beach we travel to the capital city of San Jose. Enjoy the evening in Costa Rica's vibrate center.
Day 6
San Jose Airport Transfer
Trip ends. You're transferred to the airport to catch your flight home or, even better, continue with another one of our great adventures.
