Mongolia has the largest population of Bactrian camels in the world. The camel is one of the main attractions in the Gobi for foreign visitors. We invite you to ride a camel through the canyons and sand dunes of the second largest desert on Earth for an unbelievable adventure of a lifetime.
Explore the magnificent Yol Valley National Park. Visit ancient ruins and monasteries in the Karakorum region. Observe the reintroduction of Przewalski horses back into the wild at the Hustain National Park.

Trip Itinerary:
Day 1
Ulaanbaatar
Arrive in Ulaanbaatar and take a tour of the city. Visit museums and many places of interest.
Day 2
Gobi
Fly to the world famous Gobi Desert. Visit the magnificent Yol Valley National Park for a day of leisurely exploration.
Day 3 - 5
Gobi Desert Camel Caravan
Ride camels through the canyons and sand dunes of the Gobi Desert, spending the night in tents along the way.
Day 6 - 7
Gobi, Karakorum
Take an overland drive to Karakorum, the 13th century capital of the Mongolian Empire. Visit Erdene Zuu Monastery and the ruins of ancient Karakorum.
Day 8 - 9
Hustain National Park, Ulaanbaatar
Drive to Hustain National Park to view Przewalski horses, observe, as they are re-introduced to the wild in their native homeland. Continue driving to Ulaanbaatar.
Day 10
Ulaanbaatar
Take a sightseeing tour of the city. Visit a cashmere factory and shop in the outlet store for fine cashmere and camel wool clothing and blankets. Enjoy a splendid display of a cultural song and dance performance in the evening.
Day 11
Departure
Breakfast at hotel. Transfer for departure.

Departures are available between the months of May and September.
Visitors arrive in Mongolia by air through Buyant Ukhaa International Airport located 18 km to the southwest of Ulaanbaatar.
The international air transport is operated by MIAT (Mongolian Airlines), Korean Airline, Air China (China Airlines) and Aeroflot.
There are two possibilities to enter Mongolia by air.
From North America:
The easiest way to travel to Mongolia from North America is through Beijing, China with the major foreign companies and then to Ulaanbaatar with MIAT (Mongolian Airlines) or Air China (Chinese Airline). There are almost daily flights from Beijing to Ulaanbaatar, operated by MIAT and Air China.
Upon arrival in Beijing, English-speaking guides will meet you and assist you through the customs and serve as your host in China.
From Europe:
From Europe to Moscow and to Ulaanbaatar with Aeroflot (Russian Airline)
From Europe to Beijing with the major foreign companies and then to Ulaanbaatar with MIAT (Mongolian Airlines) or Air China (Chinese Airline)
From Berlin and Frankfurt (twice weekly flights) to Ulaanbaatar direct with MIAT (Mongolian Airlines)
Upon arrival, our English-speaking guide will welcome you at the Buyant Ukhaa airport Ulaanbaatar and help you process through all the customs formalities and a chauffeured car/jeep will transfer you to your hotel in the center of Ulaanbaatar.
U.S. dollars are accepted throughout Mongolia, along with the local Mongolian currency known as the Tugrik. Travelers checks can be exchanged for cash at commercial banks. Hotels and major shops accept common credit cards such as American Express, Visa, MasterCard and Diners Club.
