Visit Dingle and the Dingle Peninsula. (B)
After a hearty Irish breakfast, we head out south to the Dingle Peninsula to explore the quintessential west coast that makes Ireland so famous. We'll stop first in the town of Tralee for a little free time, then head out and for a visit to the quaint seaside town of Dingle before continuing on to the town of Killarney were we will spend the next 2 nights. Killarney, the town on the lakes, is famous for its lively pubs and open, cheerful atmosphere, full of what the Irish call “craic!” – Gaelic for fun. Tonight why not head out into town for some good old fashion Irish fun with your fellow GEC club members.
Ring of Kerry tour. (B)
Getting a bright and early start, we will travel the road that winds around the beautiful Iveragh Peninsula, better known as The Ring of Kerry. It is undoubtedly one of the most magical places in all of Ireland. Here mountains, valleys, lakes and sea blend into a landscape that is breathtaking beyond words. A number of stops will allow us to marvel at the spectacular scenery; exploring Torc Waterfall, walking around the colorful village of Sneem and pausing at Moll's Gap for amazing views of the Lakes of Killarney. Later we will return to Killarney, where the balance of the day is free to explore the delightful town.
Blarney Castle/Stone. Blarney Woolen Mills. (B)
Starting off the day after a hearty Irish breakfast, we leave Killarney and head out southeast towards County Cork for a visit to Blarney Castle with its magical stone that gives the gift of eloquence for a kiss. We will also stop at the Blarney Woolen Mills to shop before continuing on to the beautiful city of Cork where we'll spend the night.
Rock of Cashel. Dublin city tour. (B)
We depart from Cork in the morning and travel towards Dublin, via the small town of Cashel where we will for a tour of the unforgettable Rock of Cashel castle. The dramatic limestone rock crowned with secular and religious buildings dominates the flat countryside for miles around. Travel on through the Curragh, the heart of Ireland’s equestrian country, and arrive in Dublin early this afternoon.
Upon arrival, the driver will give us a short city orientation tour, introducing Dublin’s grand architectural treasures, beautiful Georgian squares and history stretching back more than 1,000 years. You will then have some free time to enjoy the city to shop and grab some dinner. Tonight you can choose to join the group as we explore some of Dublin’s many lively pubs in the Temple Bar area.

Temperatures average about 66 degrees (19C) during the day and 53 (12C) at night. Shorts can usually be worn during the day, but be sure to bring along a coat, sweater and some pants for nighttime and those cooler days.
