Day 5:
SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK
Getting another early start, we will drive 3-4 hours to the gates of the world famous Serengeti National Park, via a stop at Olduvai Gorge; an archaeological site located in the eastern Serengeti plains, in which early human fossils were first discovered. After lunch we will be taken on a spectacular afternoon game drive through the Serengeti Plains tracking the great animals of Africa. February is typically the time of the great migration in the Serengeti, so we keep our fingers crossed that we encounter a great herd of 100,000+ zebra, wildebeest and water buffalo.
Tonight we will spend an exciting night in a comfortable tent camp near the Serengeti Plains. This fantastic tent camp is equipped with a private shower and toilets, two king-sized beds, a verandah, and table & chairs, giving you the excitement of camping, but with the comforts of a hotel. (Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included)

Day 6:
SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK
Following a delicious breakfast we will head out and spend a full day continuing to explore the vast and spectacular Serengeti. (Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included)
Overnight: Mobile tent camp near Serengeti
Day 7:
NGORONGORO CRATER
Leaving the amazing Serengeti Plains after a morning game drive, we will make our way to the Ngorongoro Crater National Park. Perhaps more awe-inspiring than the Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater is not only one of nature’s true wonders, it is also a photographer’s dream. Being the largest intact crater in the world, Ngorongoro is the massive remnants of a once mighty volcano that collapsed upon itself 2 million years ago. The result is an unbroken circular wall that measures 2,000 feet high, 10 miles across and features a flat, fertile floor. Due to its height, passing clouds get caught up on the crater, providing precious rainwater all year. Today the crater is a self-contained, year-round Garden of Eden for 30,000 plus animals of all kinds and the perfect spot for safaris any day of the year. Ngorongoro is, beyond question, a sight that you will never forget. (Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included)
After visiting Ngorongoro Crater, we will make a much anticipated stop to visit an active Masai Mara village, where you get a chance to interact with the Masai people in their traditional setting, visit their homes and schools, and experience their culture. Often the Masai morans (young Masai warriors) will perform their traditional dance. You also get an opportunity to purchase traditional Masai souvenirs, art and collectibles
Overnight: Serengeti area hotel
Day 8:
TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK - MOSHI
In the morning we drive two hours for a morning game drive of Tarangire National Park, then travel back to Moshi in the afternoon. (Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included)
Overnight: Moshi
Day 9:
TRIP ENDS
Our adventure ends after breakfast. Transfer to the Kilimanjaro Airport. (Breakfast is included)
